Talk on Gender Equality - Empowering Women in the Workplace

Introduction

Talk on "Gender Equality - Empowering Women in the Workplace", was organized by the Internal Committee (IC) of the Goa State Research Foundation (GSRF), Porvorim, on 12th March 2025, in commemoration of the International Women's Day. The guest speaker was Prof. Vrinda Borker (Member, Goa State Commission for Women and former Principal of Dhempe College, Panaji). The programme commenced with Prof. Malapati Janarthanam (Chairperson - GSRF) welcoming the dignitaries. Also present were Shri Bhushan Savaikar (Director, Directorate of Higher Education), Smt. Varsha Naik (Director, Department of Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities), Prof. Savio Falleiro (Managing Director - GSRF), and Adv. Emidio Pinho. Smt. Liza Pereira Fernandes (JDA and Presiding Officer-IC/GSRF) proposed the vote of thanks.
